Now a year has passed
since I wrote my first song
it was for anniversary ten
with my partner lifelong

this 11th anniversary poem

send it to all of your friends
from a wife that is proud

I wanna to tell everybody
how in love with you I am
time to let loose the floodgates
of this emotional dam

Each minute we're together
is always exciting and fun
nothing beats having you in my arms
when the day is done

Sometimes we eat at Chelo's
or East Greenwich for Chinese
sometimes we head to Casey's
for golden sticks made of cheese

But wherever I'm dining
all I want for dinner is you
you're the most important item
that I see on my menu
